The audit trail is used to view a history of actions on either lots or bidders. The audit trail can be found on individual lots and bidders. It will allow the auctioneer or ATG support to view actions performed on a lot from the toolbox and the portal, as well as actions performed by the bidder and actions performed on the bidder by the auctioneer. All entries on the audit trails will display the date and time that these took place.
Bidders Audit Trail
To view the Bidders audit trail, click the "Bidders" menu item in the side bar. Clicking on the name of the bidder will take the user to the bidder details page, in the side bar there will now be a link to the Audit Trail.
The bidders audit trail will display the following:
- When they registered for an auction
- When they were approved/declined to bid
- When emails were sent to the bidder, and the type of email it was
- When the bidder logged in to the portal
Lots Audit Trail
To view the Lots audit trail, click on the "Lots" menu item in the side bar. Clicking on the lot number of a lot will take the user to the lot details page, in the side bar there will now be a link to the Audit Trail.
The lots audit trail will display the following:
- When a lot was created
- When a lot was edited
- When bids were placed on lots
- Any reconciliation performed on this lot
